The Labor Day Weekend event at Ft. Oglethorpe, GA was sponsored by the 6th Cavalry Museum. We wish to thank Chris and Kyle for their hospitality in allowing us to participate. Gary, Doug, Myra and Jeff drove their Deuces, Steve had his '44 Willys MB, and Bob brought up the rear of the convoy in his HMMWV. Weather was perfect on Saturday and the Polo Field surrounded by the vintage homes of officers and barracks offered a great venue to set up our display and observe the WWII re-enactment. It was indeed refreshing to get away and
exercise our vehicles with a little road time too...
